have 20 years of experience working in this industry. I fell in love with the art of hair braiding and weaving since I was 7 years old. I can remember braiding my dolls hair many different styles. The passion and love that I have for doing hair has always been a part of my life. In high school, I was known as the “braider girl”. I use to braid all of the girls’ and teachers’ hair as a teenager.
After I graduated I left my native country of Senegal to go to College in New York City. After I arrived and the lack of finesse of braids worn by African American women, I stepped my skills and began introducing African American women to natural beauty and the diversity in hair braiding techniques, styles and weaves styling. My goal is to satisfy every client. I listen carefully to my clients’ desires, needs and concerns about preserving the health of their hair.
My clients are not limited to African American women because I am experienced with all hair textures. Honesty, loyalty and integrity are values I apply to my professional and personal affairs.
